Our Boulder lot presented a design as well as a construction
challenge. Greenacres not only worked precisely to the design,
but they also made suggestions that enhanced the beauty of the
landscaping or reduced the cost without compromising the quality.
Any changes we wished to make as the construction progressed
was accommodated with no difficulty and without the exorbitant
cost sometimes associated with design changes.
The schedule was on time and subject only to the early spring
weather. The final, as well as the daily, clean-up left the
grounds safe during construction and immaculate at the conclusion.
This is our forth house in Boulder and we have undertaken a
number of major interior and landscaping projects. While this
was one of our larger projects, it was perhaps the easiest.
The crew and the supervision were wonderful and the end result
was even better than we imagined.
Greenacres is a truly professional organization which I would
unconditionally recommend to anyone considering an extensive
landscaping project.

Green Acres and Joel Hamm have provided excellent landscaping
pricing and service both for our personal residence and several
rental homes that we have. Green Acres installed a flagstone
patio, an irrigation system, and plants that transformed our
backyard from a area that we rarely used to an area that we
now use constantly for eating and entertaining outside.
Green Acres completely remodeled the landscaping of one rental
home with very competitive pricing, an attractive design, and
very good results. Another rental home required reworking
the irrigation system. In all cases, Joel has been very
responsive to our request for bids, performing the work, and
following up to ensure that we were satisfied. For all
future landscaping work, we will not hesitate to employ Green
Acres rather than evaluating other landscapers.

Our home was built in the early 1970’s, with a front
yard that was typical of those of that era: overgrown junipers
and a patchy, unimaginative lawn. Our sprinkler system was an
outdated “water-waster.” Joel and his staff at Green

us throughout the job, very accessible at all times. Our landscaping
project was completed on time and to our exact specifications.
All that, AND for a very reasonable price! We couldn’t be
more pleased with the work that Green Acres Landscape
has performed for us.

Charla has formal education in botany and horticulture and 25
years gardening experience. Paul is a professional engineer
and also trained in horticulture. That makes us pretty picky.
We met with seven landscape contractors, most of whom we
deemed very competent. After spending days traveling to
see their work and talking to previous clients we settled on Green
Acres. We liked the attention to detail, particularly
in the masonry, lawn and garden edging treatment. The recommendations
for soil amendment and irrigation methodology were state-of-the-art.
We are absolutely delighted with the result! The plant
material is thriving and the wall and patio work is better than
what we see in magazines. Neighbors stop by to get ideas
for their own yards. Even the construction phase went
without a hitch. The crews were courteous and personable.

Green Acres did a fantastic job of transforming
